Hi, I’m sally!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who's been doing this work for over a decade. I started in dual diagnosis treatment centers, spent years researching interventions for young people with chronic illness at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and now I get to do what I love most, which is walk alongside teens and young adults during some of their hardest moments.
My office doesn't look like what you'd expect. We might take my therapy dog for a walk while we talk. Or sit on the floor making vision boards. Or play a game while working through the hard stuff. Whatever helps someone feel more comfortable and open, that's what we'll do. Because here's the thing: when you feel safe and seen, real change becomes possible.
What Makes My Approach Different
I believe healing happens through relationships. Not through worksheets or rigid protocols, but through genuine connection, creative expression, and honoring your unique experience.
My approach combines traditional therapy with expressive, somatic, and nature-based techniques, as I recognize that talking alone is often insufficient. Sometimes you need to move your body, create something with your hands, or simply breathe fresh air to access what's really going on inside.
Sometimes the best conversations happen when you're not sitting face-to-face in an office.

Equine Assisted Therapy
There's something powerful about working with horses. They're honest, present, and don't judge your performance. Equine therapy can help with emotional regulation, confidence building, and learning to trust yourself in a completely different way.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Some of my best sessions happen out of the office, whether we take a walk to Starbucks or walk through a neighborhood with my therapy dog. There's something about moving your body and being in nature that can unlock conversations and insights that feel stuck in traditional office settings.

These approaches work especially well for:

Who I Am Beyond the Office
I'm not just a therapist. I'm an aunt, a sister, an artist, and someone who has sat on both sides of the therapy chair. I spend my free time on horseback, hiking with my dog, and creating art because I deeply believe in the healing power of nature, movement, and creativity.
I bring my whole self to this work because your struggles deserve genuine care, understanding, and hope.
