Your teen doesn’t have to navigate this alone.
Therapy for the kids, teens, and young adults finding their way in a fast-changing world.
Meet the
Nex Gen Team
At Nex Gen Therapy, we're a team of compassionate and creative therapists dedicated to helping teens, young adults, and their families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
We work with teens and young adults who are doing their best to hold it all together, even when everything feels like too much. Maybe they’re anxious, overwhelmed, perfectionistic, struggling with food or body image, or questioning who they are in a world that feels constantly demanding. Maybe they’re struggling with depression and using substances to cope. Maybe they’re trying to adjust to college, feeling stuck between kid and adult, or just burned out from the pressure to perform.
At Nex Gen, we meet each person where they are… on a trail with a therapy dog, sitting cross-legged on the floor making vision boards, or simply having a real conversation that doesn’t feel forced. We know therapy only works when it feels safe, flexible, and real. That’s why we help you choose the therapist that’s right for you or your child, because the right connection changes everything. And you deserve care that truly fits.
meet Sally McClain, LCSW
I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and young adults who are navigating high anxiety, self-esteem struggles, disordered eating, and the messy, complicated shift from adolescence into adulthood. My clients are often the “good kids”—the perfectionists, the quiet strugglers, the ones who hold it all together on the outside but are falling apart inside.
They might be battling panic attacks, body image issues, or the intense pressure to do everything right. They might be preparing to leave home for the first time or silently managing the impact of family stress, addiction, or chronic illness.
Therapy with me doesn’t look like a stiff office and a clipboard. It might look like a walk-and-talk session with my therapy dog by my side. Or sitting cross-legged on the floor, creating vision boards, journaling, or playing a game while we talk. Whatever helps your teen feel more comfortable and open—that’s what we’ll do.
I build trust through comfort, creativity, and compassion. And from that place of safety, we get to work.

How We Work: Therapy That Actually Feels Right
Forget everything you think you know about therapy. At Nex Gen, we’re not here to box you into a one-size-fits-all model. We help you find the therapist who feels like the right fit because we know that when therapy feels safe and comfortable, real change can happen.
Depending on what works best for you or your child, sessions might include:
We meet each client where they are, not where others think they should be. That’s what makes the work meaningful.
And that’s why we start by helping you find a therapist who just gets it.
You shouldn’t have to choose between a therapist who understands teenagers and one who knows the pressures of young adulthood.
We know life doesn’t follow a neat schedule. We meet you exactly where you are, whether you're still in high school, figuring out your first apartment, or feeling lost on a college campus.
The right care should always meet you where you are, not ask you to shape-shift to fit into a specific category.
That's our promise.

Meet Belle
Zabelle Deurdulian, AMFT # 131917
I work with people who are ready to do the kind of inner work that actually changes things. My style is warm, intuitive, and relational—but also honest and direct. I don’t sugarcoat things. I value depth while also being grounded and practical.
My work is deeply somatic and trauma-informed, and I’m trained in Brainspotting—a powerful approach that helps the body process what words can’t always reach. I often work with trauma, creatives and performers, expats, cosmetic identity challenges, grief, postpartum depression, and relationship challenges.
Half Dutch and half Armenian, born and raised in the Netherlands and based in L.A., I bring a multicultural lens to everything I do. I’m fluent in Dutch and earned my B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch. Therapy with me is real, collaborative, and impactful.
